Step 1 : Click Start >> Click on All Programs >> Click on Accessories

Step 2 : Right Click on Command Prompt >> Click on Run as Administrator


(If you are asked for a password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Yes.)

Step 3 : Now the command prompt window will open, type the following command and then press ENTER


sfc /scannow
